Services

We are committed to providing our patients with comprehensive, high quality natural healthcare.

  • Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Chiropractors use adjustments to correct subluxations of the spine and extremities. Subluxations contribute to health disorders and pain. We offer traditional (manual) chiropractic adjustments as well as Activator instrument, ArthroStim, and other light touch adjustments. Chiropractic can treat headaches, neck pain, mid back pain, shoulder problems including rotator cuff injuries and pain, low back pain, disc injuries, pain resulting from auto accidents, knee and ankle pain, and many other conditions. At THHC our chiropractic visits will include adjusting the spine and extremities as well as manual muscle work, E-STIM, Graston, cold-laser, stretching, kinesiotaping, and other modalities depending on your injury or pain presentation. Our doctors are also able to refer for imaging such as X-ray and MRI if necessary.
  • Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is a healthcare profession that focuses on easing pain, helping people regain their optimal body functioning, and improving peoples' quality of life. A physical therapist will evaluate the patient, do manual therapies if warranted, and teach the patient stretches and strengthening. Physical therapists can do scraping techniques, dry needling, taping, manual therapies, stretching, and mobilizations.
  • Massage Therapy
Massage therapy describes a comprehensive system, rather than a single technique, that involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation, and movement of soft tissues to resolve pain and dysfunction. Its focus is restoring function and structural balance throughout the body for both prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. At THHC our massage therapists specialize in a range of techniques including orthopedic, medical, Swedish, therapeutic, relaxation, and hot stone massage. Our massage therapists may also implement assisted stretching, cupping, and massage percussor during their sessions.
  • CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral therapy is a method of diagnosis and treatment developed by John Upledger, D.O. This is a gentle technique that helps to release stress in the body. It works with the spine, the skull and its sutures, the diaphragms, and fascia.
  • Personal Training
Physical Therapy is a healthcare profession that focuses on easing pain and restoring motion and strength to improve quality of life and allow the individual to return to the activities that matter to him or her. A physical therapist will evaluate the patient, diagnose movement dysfunction, and develop a treatment plan. Treatment may include manual therapy such as soft tissue massage and mobilizations; trigger point dry needling, scraping, cupping, taping, stretching and strengthening exercises. The physical therapist will also provide patient education and teach home strategies and exercises to enable the patient to take charge of their recovery. Physical therapy can help individuals achieve fitness goals, regain or maintain their independence, and lead active lives.
  • Visceral Manipulation / Massage
Visceral organs have two types of motion; mobility and motility. Mobility is movement of the organs in response to movement of the body. Motility is movement that is inherent to the organ itself. There should be no restriction of visceral organ motion, in either mobility or motility. Restriction and/or abnormal motion implies functional impairment of the organ. We find that musculoskeletal pain can oftentimes be a result from restricted viscera. In order to improve our patient's pain we must address the mobility and motility of the viscera.
  • Animal Chiropractic
Animal Chiropractic is the art of diagnosing and treating vertebral and extremity subluxations found in your animal. How can you tell if your cat or dog needs to be adjusted? They may be presenting with one or more of the following signs: Behavioral changes Unusual posture while standing or sitting Performance decreases Sensitivity or pain with touch or picking up Inability or reluctance to climb up and down stairs or furniture Pain when taking collar or harness off Give back to your 4-legged friends and bring them in for a checkup today! Please note that chiropractic care DOES NOT take the place of traditional veterinary medicine. Minnesota statute requires that a veterinary referral be acquired before the animal may be adjusted. We ask that you give us 3-4 business days before your animal’s appointment to contact your veterinarian and obtain this referral.
  • Myofascial Release
Myofascial release is a soft tissue technique that uses gentle, sustained holds and stretching in order to release tensions and restrictions throughout the body and fascial system.
